Special Election to Fill Vacancy on Oconee County Council

A special election has been scheduled to fill a vacancy on the Oconee County Council. The Republican Primary is scheduled for July 7. If a runoff is required, it will take place July 21. The candidates are:

Jack Collins, Cleveland Pike Road, Westminster (Democrat)
C. Paul Corbeil, Salem (Republican)
Robbie D. Lee, 7200 S.C. 11 North, Wahalla (Republican)
Steve Moore, Walhalla (Republican)

The candidates were requested to respond to questions posed by the League of Women Voters. To view answers from Mr. Collins, Mr. Corbeil and Mr. Lee click here. Mr. Moore did not reply to this request.

The election will take place on August 25.
