National Popular Vote Consensus

At Convention in 2008, the National LWV adopted a study on reforming the Electoral College. Consensus meetings were held in Spring 2009. The National Board determined that there was no consensus on the National Popular Vote Compact as one way to address the election of the President, so the League of Women Voters neither supports nor opposes this method.

Immigration Consensus Results

The immigration study was completed in Spring 2008. Read the consensus on Immigration here. South Carolina is pleased to have had nine leagues and one MAL unit contribute to this final result.
